The options in the Dashboard -> Diagnostics drawer are typically used when troubleshooting an issue with the Photosmith for iPad app or sync with Lightroom.
Tapping on the View Diagnostic button will show links to a number data stores related to Photosmith’s internal database.
The Photosmith Diagnostics screen viewed via Dashboard in Photosmith for iPad app is the same as can be seen when going to your iPad’s IP address or hostname.local and port number in a web browser on your Mac or PC. For example, http://192.168.1.101:8080 or http://MikePad.local:8080.
Verify Eye-Fi Service
This button performs a query of the Eye-Fi service embedded within Photosmith. If it is running and all is well, it should say: “Eye-Fi Servicer on Photosmith is active.”
This level of service verification may not always work, and shouldn’t be used as a definitive indicator of the current status of the Eye-Fi service running in Photosmith.
