Due to the complexities of keywording, especially hierarchical keyword schemes, a simple text box for editing keywords is not sufficient for adding new and managing existing keywords.
Tap on Tagging Mode, then on the Keywords text box to display the Keyword Editing drawers:
The Keyword Editing drawers show a hierarchical listing of Keywords in the left-hand column, and a Search Text Box and list of your most Recent and Popular keywords in the right-hand column:
Tap the greater-than icon to the right of a keyword to go down a level into that keyword’s hierarchy.
To delete a keyword, left-swipe on a keyword row:
This cause a Delete button to be displayed. Tapping the Delete button will cause a delete confirmation button to be displayed. Tap the Delete confirmation button.
Note: Like in Lightroom, deleting a keyword in Photosmith will cause it to be removed from all photos to which it is assigned in Photosmith.
To add a new keyword, tap in the Search Box at the top of the right-hand column of the Keyword Editing drawer and begin typing a new keyword. You will see the text you typed lower in that column, with a checkbox to select the newly entered text as a new keyword:
Swiping Between Photos
If you are in Loupe View while the Keyword Editing drawers is open, you may swipe between photos while Keyword Editing drawers remain open. This can allow you to very quickly make keyword selections from your Popular and Recent keyword lists.
Closing Keyword Editing Drawers
When you are finished working with keywords, tap the Done button, and Keyword Editing drawers will close. You will again see the standard left-hand metadata editing (Tagging) column:
