We’ve made sending an email containing one or more photos from your Photosmith catalog very simple. This section presumes that you have a properly configured email account established on your iPad via Apple’s Mail.app on your iPad.
First, choose if you want to send only the selected photo(s) or if you want to send all photos in the current selected User Collection. Then, choose how large of a photo you want to send:
- Small: 160 pixels on the longest edge
- Medium: 640 pixels on the longest edge
- Large: 1024 pixels on the longest edge
You may limit the size of the email attachment by explicitly defining the maximum size of the email. Our default is 5MB, which is very conservative. Services such as Google’s Gmail allows attachments as large as 25MB per email message.
Tap the Email button at the bottom of the Export to Email drawer to begin the photo rendering, which will occur in the background. You can monitor the progress of rendering in the Activity Center section. Once all photos which you’re sending via email have been rendered, an Email Composition popup window will appear. This is where you define the To: and CC: email address(es), email Subject:, and Body of your email message. Tap the Send button to send the email to your recipient(s).
An Internet connection is required to send photos via email.
