Sometimes, usually through manually editing of Eye-Fi's Settings.xml file (as outlined here) your Eye-Fi card upload key might need to be regenerated. The Eye-Fi card upload key is what Photosmith uses to know which Eye-Fi card it's supposed to be listening for. This key, which is just a string of letters and numbers, is detected by the Photosmith plugin for Lightroom, and is then sent to Photosmith on your iPad.
Luckly, this is an easy process:
- Launch the Eye-Fi Center program on your Mac or PC running Lightroom. Your Eye-Fi card does not need to be connected to your Mac or PC.
- Click the card settings graphic - It's the gear icon on the left-hand column.
- Click on the Photos tab.
- Uncheck then recheck the "upload all photos..." checkbox
- Click the Save button.
